As the universe conspired, Los Angeles 4-piece Badflower were in the wrong place at the right time. Badflower continue to amass fans with their love for cinematic lyrics and melodic rock.

Josh Katz (vocals) and Joey Morrow (guitar) united in 2008 over their love of soul music and insomnia. The pair eventually spawned Badflower in early 2013 whilst living in a chaotic apartment deep in West Hollywood.
The pair converted their two bedrooms into a vocal recording booth and tracking room, opting instead to sleep on bunks next to their kitchen. Alex Espiritu (bass) and Anthony Sonetti (drums) later joined to complete their hypnotic sound.

In 2013 independent EP 'About A Girl' (co-produced by Katz and Pierre De
Reeder of Rilo Kiley) was released and Badflower hit the road playing across the US, most notably Austin's SXSW, LA's Sunset Music Festival and headlining some of LA's most famous haunts.

In 2014 Badflower have spent months in NRG studios with producer Jay Baumgardner (Bush, Evanescence, Linkin Park) and orchestral conductor & arranger Suzie Katayama (Muse, Bjork, Bright
Eyes) on a debut album said to be out later this year.

The leading single "Heroin" was recently previewed by Kat Corbett and secured the #1 spot on KROQs Locals Only after only one week.
They are currently back in the studio working on new music with plans to tour in the future.

Badflower's music rides suspended thick through the air, stealing what space might be left inside the listeners mind.
