Celebrating 5 Years at the Whisky a Go Go

Fast Times, the ultimate 80's concert experience, is set to make rock n roll history with a celebration concert commemorating their historic 5-year residency at the Whisky a Go Go. Since April 2019, Fast Times has held the longest band residency at the legendary venue, attracting packed crowds every Monday night.

The celebration concert, taking place on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, promises to be a night to remember.

On March 7, 2024, an exhilarating partnership was announced that's set to redefine the entertainment landscape of Los Angeles. Insomniac, under the innovative leadership of CEO Pasquale Rotella, and the legendary AVALON Hollywood, spearheaded by John Lyons, have joined forces. This historic collaboration is a meeting of minds and missions, promising to blend Insomniac's expertise in creating unforgettable music festivals with AVALON's rich legacy as a central figure in Hollywood's nightlife.

Los Angeles, a city synonymous with glamour, innovation, and the avant-garde, once again became the epicenter of fashion forwardness with the much-anticipated LA Fashion Week by The Society in 2023. This event not only underscored the city's significant role in the global fashion landscape but also showcased an eclectic mix of emerging talent and established designers, setting the trends for the seasons ahead.

Push your way through the dark, Gothic interior past plush seating and wild decor to reach two dance floors, two bars, and an outdoor smoking patio. July 4th Avalon Saturday's: Dirty South Extended Set

Dirty South is a two-time Grammy nominated producer and DJ from Belgrade, Yugoslavia. After relocating to Melbourne, Australia at the age of 13, he developed a love for music and learned to mix on any available platform. After building momentum through a slews of mixes, he decided to take his talents on the road and outside of Australia. Dirty South plunged head-first into the life of a touring DJ and found himself playing at some of the best clubs and biggest festivals across the globe. Renowned for his Grammy nominated remix of Kaskade's "Sorry" and Temper Trap's "Sweet Disposition" in collaboration with Axwell, the rising producer continued his sonic development while touring the world. InTheMix voted Dirty South the "Most Popular Producer" in its 2007 Top 50 DJs Poll. Dirty South's DJ sets  tap into elements of progressive deep house designed to feed energy to the dance floor. His impressive production and skillfully crafted DJ set will be a special treat on this lit up Los Angeles Night. Hailing from Washington, DC, Billy the Gent and Long Jawns were longtime friends before teaming up as Gent & Jawns. Their standout hit "Vibrate" propelled the two to the top of everyone's list of producers to work with. Gent & Jawns have since landed remixes for Datsik, Bare, and Muffler, as well as collaborations with Nadastrom, Torro Torro, and JWLS. The Mad Decent signees were featured on Diplo's 'Express Yourself EP', which topped the iTunes charts as the number one electronic album. Coming off their recent EP 'Faded', the two fuse sounds from heavy bass and trap with hip hop samples, creating high energy tunes to set off any club. Supporting Gent & Jawns is Miami DJ/producer, Meaux Green, who began producing when one of his friends handed him a copy of the Ableton music program. The nice gesture has developed Green into one of Trap's hottest up and coming producers. Green has collaborated with some of the industry's most respected DJ's like Flosstradamus, Party Favor, TROPKILLAZ, and D!RTY AUD!O, just to name a few.

Symbiosis Gathering, the multifaceted lakeside music and arts event held will head down to Southern California on July 12th for 'Symbiotic Sunday', an afternoon celebration featuring D-Nox, Desert Dwellers, and Treavor Moontribe. Tucked into the Malibu Hills, the gathering will take place at The Malibu Institute and feature panoramic views, a Funktion One soundsystem, and the finest avant-garde electronic music available. 'Symbiotic Sunday' will be an intimate affair limited to 500 attendees.

Treavor Moontribe, one of the instrumental founders in the infamous California desert Moontribe gatherings will play two sets - one under his psy-dub Desert Dwellers project, and one under his techno and trance-focused Treavor Moontribe moniker. Symbiosis Gathering offers its community an awe-inspiring portal into a creative utopia, a glimpse of a more united future. The 10 Year Re:Union will fuse a finely curated musical lineup that includes artists like Nicolas Jaar, Cocorosie, Tipper, Four Tet, and The Acid, with otherworldly art installations, perma culture education programs, live performance, yoga, gourmet food, and a slew of interactive activities. Symbiosis Gathering has established its reputation and built its ethos on an unmatched combination of cutting edge talent, and a stunning natural location. Held near the border of Yosemite National Park, the vibe is set with Woodward Reservoir's sandy beaches and lakeside stages, built around a naturally occurring 5-pointed peninsula. Attendees can literally swim between stages to catch headliners. The fusing of these elements means Symbiosis is one of those few festivals that can legitimately claim to offer a potent multifaceted experience.

Bounce to the beat, dance on the beach and lose yourself in the new summer anthem by Dutch artist Eelke Kleijn: "In My Head." Kleijn is bringing his fun, whimsical approach to dance music to Sound nightclub in Los Angeles on July 20 for EDM mainstay Monday Social. Househeads and anyone who loves to shake it on the dance floor won't want to miss this opportunity to catch the Dutchman in action.
