Interested in learning how to reduce waste and upcycling items you may already have in your closet? Our favorite textile arts teacher, fiber artist Connie Rohman returns to share the art of Japanese Sashiko stitching and ways to reimagine textiles and mend and embellish clothing. By learning stitching techniques, you can embellish or mend already purchased materials and reduce the amount of textiles that may otherwise end up being thrown away! The Sashiko stitch can beautify fabrics and proves to be both delicate in appearance and sturdy in application.
