Brothers Wes (singer/songwriter) and Kelly (drums) had found themselves looking to jam together again. Wes' former Indie Pop band 'The Monthlies' had slowed and Kelly had recently left the 60's Psych rock band 'Spirit Vine'. They wanted to make music more reminiscent of their Indiana roots. They decided the band must have a pedal steel player and after nearly a year of searching he appeared in the form of Abe Levy of 'Somerset'. The 3 gelled instantly and the songs flowed with earnest and vigor. Wes' former band mate, Chris Hall, was added a few weeks later on bass duty and the quartet was off and running.
